Description

In this course, Dr. Russell Marz discusses the perfect triad of what makes up “the ideal diet.” The three pillars of his triad are: blue zones, longevity, and the environmental impact our food choices have.

Dr. Marz reveals the dietary patterns and the ratios of micro to macro nutrients of people who are living a long life free of chronic disease. Not only has he visited three out of the five blue zones, but he has decades of experience studying nutrition and researching nutritional data as it pertains to health. He overviews common misconceptions of what makes up “the ideal diet” and discusses a myriad of research studies and collected data from countries where there are pockets of people who are thriving.

He lays out the foundations of the “ideal diet” and how we can begin to incorporate these principles into our lives. “The ideal diet” is not only ideal for our own health and longevity but ideal for the health and longevity of our planet. This lecture inspires and teaches us how to live healthy, happy lives while at the same time caring for the environment and its other inhabitants.
