Description

While research on herbs for treating cancer has focused on tissue cultures and induction of apoptosis, this presentation will explore ways in which herbs, seaweed, and natural agents may deter metastasis and help mitigate pain. Whether the goal is to reduce the need for pain meds, provide recovery tools in patients with a good prognosis, or offer palliative end of life care, we will explore herbs specifically indicated for specific tissues, and specific types of pain. Based on folkloric materia medica, specific indications of herbal medicines, and Dr. Stansbury’s 30 years of clinical experience, this clinical presentation will offer effective formulas and treatment approaches to these common presenting complaints.
