Loretta Butehorn, PhD, CCH, is a licensed psychologist and certified homeopath who has worked in the substance abuse treatment field for over 30 years. She has presented her work on addictions through Hazelden Treatment Conferences, Harvard Addictions Treatment Conferences and Adcare Educational Institute.
Dr. Butehorn is a Board Member of the National Center for Homeopathy, and a former board member of the Council on Homeopathic Certification. She is Director of The Sidewalk, a pro bono homeopathic clinic for addicted persons in Brighton, MA, which is affiliated with Homeopathy without Borders.
An avid lifelong learner, she has studied dialectic behavioral therapy, EMDR, hypnosis, meditation, shamanism, tai chi and thought field therapy, and has a special interest in how integrative approaches can augment healing.
Dr. Butehorn taught at Boston College from 1987-2017, and developed their first courses in Complementary/Integrative Health. Her private practice is in Boston, MA.
