NANCEAC Accreditation
We are very excited to announce that we are now NANCEAC-accredited. This means that for the courses we submit to NANCEAC, they will be approved for CE for most states and provinces for licensed naturopathic doctors in North America. Please see section below for more details. We are really excited about this! Please note you will start to see some other changes on the site to adhere to NANCEAC’s standards, including a new self-assessment on learning objectives being met for a given course. We will start rolling out these changes in the coming weeks for NANCEAC-submitted courses.
Where is NANCEAC accreditation accepted?
NANCEAC-accredited CE activities are automatically accepted in the following jurisdictions:
United States: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Washington
Canada: Alberta, British Columbia (Category C)
NANCEAC-accredited CE activities meet or exceed CE requirements in the following jurisdictions, but may need further approval:
United States: Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island
Canada: British Columbia (Category F and G), Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan

On our Course Catalog page, you can search for courses that are NANCEAC-accredited by typing “NANCEAC” in the “CE Approvals” filter. Check off the box, and voila the search results will only display NANCEAC-accredited courses. Or, you can simply click here to view NANCEAC-accredited courses.
North American Naturopathic Continuing Education Accreditation Council (NANCEAC)
The North American Naturopathic Continuing Education Accreditation Council (NANCEAC) is a key organization in the realm of naturopathic medicine, focused on accrediting continuing education (CE) providers for naturopathic physicians. It was established by the Federation of Naturopathic Medicine Regulatory Authorities (FNMRA) with the goal of ensuring that CE providers meet high standards of quality and are free from commercial bias. This accreditation is essential for regulatory authorities to recognize that a CE provider is delivering valuable and compliant education to naturopathic doctors. NANCEAC is committed to enhancing public safety and promoting best practices within the naturopathic community, contributing to the advancement of naturopathic medicine throughout North America.

Timothy Miller ND, LAc, RA
Timothy Miller ND, LAc, RA is a naturopathic physician, licensed acupuncturist, and registered aromatherapist. He is a graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, OR.
Dr. Tim is a chemistry nerd. He is fascinated by the chemistry found in the natural world. Fueled by the abundant, potent, and unique components within aromatherapy, Dr. Tim has sought to understand how essential oils act on the body and identify which clinical applications are best incorporated into practice.
Dr. Tim first began his aromatherapy studies in 2005. He has since traveled the world to advance his understanding of essential oils and their clinical implications. Dr. Tim has studied with Rhiannon Lewis, Mark Webb, Gabriel Mojay, Kurt Schnaubelt, and Jeffrey Yuen. He has successfully completed a National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) approved course and has completed the requirements to become a registered aromatherapist. He is a member of the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC).
Beyond his love of aromatherapy, Dr. Tim is an avid traveler and student of foreign languages. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and being in nature. Dr. Tim loves to learn new things and is driven by self-improvement and emotional intelligence.
Dr. Tim believes deeply in Docere and loves to teach. He is an international speaker, workshop leader and contributing author. He believes learning should be fun and makes every attempt to engage his students in a profound and meaningful way.
