Celiac Disease: Lesser-Known, Clinically-Relevant Facts

Celiac Disease: Lesser-Known, Clinically-Relevant Facts

Description

We all know that the impact of dysfunction and/or disease in one part of the body can ripple far and wide, and celiac disease is no exception.

Celiac disease is NOT a condition of the small intestine alone; it impacts the microbiome of both the small and large intestines. There is also a close correlation of celiac disease with the prevalence of SIBO that, in turn, increases the prevalence of GERD, sinus infection, and oral dysplasia. Dr. Meletis has scoured the current scientific literature to glean some of the most compelling findings that every clinician must know to help all patients, especially the outliers with challenging clinical presentations.

We are confident this impactful course will leave every member of the audience enlightened about one or more topics that they did not know.
