CBD and Hemp: What You Need To Know

Description

In 1996, California became the first jurisdiction in the United States to legalize the use of marijuana in medical settings. In Canada, the use of legal medical marijuana began five years later, and has led to a nationwide legalization of its recreational use. Because of the ever-increasing use of cannabis as medicine, it is more important than ever that practitioners have a functional knowledge of cannabis and the cannabinoid system, in order to effectively care for their clients.

This three-lesson course provides a naturopathic look at CBD and the cannabinoid system, including gut-brain axis, neurobiological interactions between stress and the endocannabinoid system, and the effects of CBD on sleep and pain. As an experienced physician in the world of medical marijuana, Dr. Chris Meletis presents a succinct and evidence-based perspective on the need-to-knows of medical marijuana.

  • Explore current research trends in medical marijuana
