Day 1
- Session 1 1h 36min
- Session 2 1h 56min
This course is geared for aromatherapists, body workers, and other practitioners wishing to explore and/or extend their use of essential oils for a range of musculoskeletal pathologies, as well as their role in sports medicine.
Myalgias (muscle pains) of various origins are amongst the most frequent clinical pain syndrome, dysfunction, and disability and aromatherapy is one of the therapies well-placed to bring relief and/or resolution. Taking an evidence-based approach, the course will detail key essential oils with proven effectiveness along with safe, effective guidelines as to their formulation and application for a range of inflammatory and non-inflammatory disorders.
This course does not provide ‘recipes’ for musculoskeletal complaints; instead, it empowers the practitioner to use their knowledge and skills to formulate and effectively address a number of musculoskeletal disorders. The formulations that are provided in the course are for discussion purposes to facilitate learning and are not considered formulation suggestions.
